Hi Neighbors!

My family and I arrived here from California six years ago. My husband Myles and I wanted our two kids, now ages 12 and 9, to grow up closer to our East Coast family, so we did our research and fell in love with Summit for the same reasons most people do: its small-town charm, great schools and easy access to the city. It’s been a little slice of heaven for us—we know all of our neighbors, our kids can walk to school and we love exploring our beautiful downtown.

Soon after we settled in, I rolled up my sleeves and got involved. I’m the incoming PTO Co-President at Washington School after serving as Vice President last year, was a Chair of the Santa Claus Shop in 2023 and was an active member of the Wilson Primary Center PTO. Over the past year, when a burgeoning threat to my neighborhood became an issue, I helped my Tatlock neighbors join together to ensure our quality of life endures—and ultimately made the decision to run for office.

There’s a lot to be done, and as my campaign unfolds I’m looking forward to sharing more of my ideas with you. But I’ll start with this: I believe that every resident in town should have a say in what happens in their neighborhoods. This means increasing transparency in our local government, making sure that residents are aware of nearby changes being proposed at the beginning of the conversation. I believe that our elected officials have a duty to make decisions that are fair and equitable, and that civility is an important community value.

I’m excited for this new opportunity to contribute to the community I’ve come to love. I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can over the coming months. I hope you’ll check out my website and follow my Facebook and Instagram pages for updates, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to chat about what’s important to you. Let’s unite and make Summit even better! #SummitUnited
